Sandy Springs-based Ju-C Bar is expanding with a second location. Slated to debut in September, Owner Mojdeh “Mo” Martin is bringing the eatery to Krog Street Market (KSM) in space situated between Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate and Mama Bath and Body

Opening that first Sandy Springs location in January of 2018, Martin was already looking for somewhere to open her second location when she was eating lunch at KSM. “I live in the City, so when I went to eat at Krog Street, I saw a location was open,” she said. Ju-C Bar will take over the space where Krog Street Pet Works used to operate.

Specializing in healthy food and smoothies, Ju-C Bar will serve the same menu across both locations. The bar prides itself on the organic, natural ingredients they use to flavor the food and smoothies they make as you order.

“Our smoothies are super duper popular because we don’t add any ice to any of our smoothies,” Martin said, “so it’s super creamy because we freeze all of the organic foods and we make the smoothie as you order.”

Ju-C Bar also avoids adding preservatives or extra sugar into their food. “We season everything with natural seasoning which is like cumin and tumeric, and habenor,” she said.

Seeing a devout following at her Sandy Springs location, Martin hopes to find the same following in KSM. She’s already seen a few people from the Atlanta area swing by the first location for an earlier preview for what’s to come in KSM.

“We’re actually super excited,” Martin said. “I think it’s going to be a great second location for us. It’s always super busy, and I feel like people in the city are super healthy.”

  • Super, super,super…
    The pet store was doomed.
    This is much like Recess.
Doesn’t seem right to have two competing establishments.
    Ugh…

  • All the tenants are doomed, Krog has rents higher than Manhattan N.Y.C. ! There is a reason they have lost 5 tenants this year alone, it didn’t help that they offered no rent relief during the pandemic, but RAISED everyone’s rents… just kick um while they are down!
