Modern Thai Restaurant Coming to Somerville’s Ball Square

The Blue Elephant will debut this fall, offering a variety of contemporary Thai dishes.

A modern Thai restaurant is on its way to Somerville.

The Blue Elephant will soon occupy the former site of The House of Kebab at 719 Broadway in Ball Square.

According to the restaurant’s website, The Blue Elephant will offer a diverse menu of contemporary Thai dishes, including spring rolls, pho, ramen, stir-fried noodles, and fried rice.

In a post on the Somerville, MA Community Facebook group, Alvin Pratama, who co-owns the restaurant with his wife, noted that construction is underway and paperwork is being finalized.
