Chase Bank is making a deposit into Summerville’s Downtown Nexton, the urban-inspired mixed-use development.

The JPMorgan-owned retail banking division is slated to open at the corner of Nexton Parkway and Brighton Park Boulevard, according to the community’s website.

The new location will add to the bank’s expanding footprint in Charleston and the surrounding region, which already includes 10 other branches.

Chase Bank offers personal and business banking services, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, mortgages and loans. The bank operates thousands of branches and ATMs nationwide and is known for its widely used mobile banking app and rewards credit card products.

An official opening date has not yet been announced, though the location is listed as “Coming soon” on Nexton’s website.

Downtown Nexton spans nearly 100 acres between Sigma Drive and Brighton Park Boulevard in the heart of Summerville’s Nexton community. The development blends residential, commercial and recreational spaces, drawing new restaurants, shops and offices while offering convenience for locals and visitors.

What Now Charleston reached out to both Downtown Nexton and Chase Bank. This article may be updated.
