Twisted Sugar, the bakery that offers fresh baked cookies and specialty sodas, is expanding throughout Chicagoland with two new sites in Northwest Indiana.

First, the company, led by the Jardine family, will make its Chicagoland debut in Crown Point, IN. Considering this location has been mentioned on the company’s website for some time now, this location will likely open before the end of the year. The company’s second Chicagoland location, first reported by NWI Times, will come to Valparaiso at 60 University Drive, near the northern campus of Valparaiso University. The exact opening date is unknown, but the company will replace Yats Cajun Creole on the ground floor of The Promenade.

Twisted Sugar can currently be found in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. Although the Jardine family are the company’s primary owners, the expansion has been made possible through franchise agreements. All of these locations feature delicious sweets and treats that will make anyone “fall in love with cookies again.”

Cookies and specialty sodas aren’t the only sweet treat found at these stores. The chain also proudly offers flavored waters, energy drinks, hot chocolates, whoopie pies, and peanut butter brownies. In honor of the fall season, Twisted Sugar recently announced the release of their classic pumpkin chocolate chip topped with brown sugar and cinnamon frosting and a new cornbread cookie made with honey butter frosting.
