Dallas, prepare to say “bonjour!” to your next sweet obsession. Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café is bringing the tastes of France to Snider Plaza later this year, reports Culture Map Dallas.

The eatery-which is so much more than the delicious crepes of its name-is taking over the space at 6632 Snider Plaza that previously housed Buff City Soap. The building requires relatively extensive renovations; paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations lists the planned improvements as: “demolition, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.”

Work began on Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café on February 3, and is set to conclude by April 11 of this year. Ownership projects a summer opening for the 2,588 square foot restaurant.

The concept traces its roots back to 2012 Houston. The Snider Plaza location will be helmed by the Hymes family-husband and wife Edward and Cynthia are joined by their son, Edward, in running the cafe. The enterprising family already own and operate a Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café in Southlake, which has made them confident enough to pursue this new storefront. Edward tells What Now Dallas that the location is ideal for the creperie, explaining: “Snider Plaza is a charming, walkable shopping and dining destination with an inviting atmosphere and a vibrant community. The building has unique features we are incorporating into our design and due to the recent refurbishment of the Snider Plaza parking lot we will have a large patio space as well. We are excited to join the community!”
