Bruz Beers is making a move west, with plans for a new brewery and taproom in Golden that will become the next home for the Denver-based beer company.

The brewery has secured a one-acre property at 17575 South Golden Road in its hometown of Golden according to Westword. This is where it plans to develop a new flagship facility.

According to the news outlet, construction is expected to get underway within the next several months, with a grand opening tentatively planned for mid-2028.

Now this move will see an end to Bruz’s time at its Off Fax location at 1495 York Street in Denver. The brewery is planning a final celebration at the location on September 24 before closing the doors.

Bruz Beers has built its reputation around Belgian-style beers and Belgian-inspired brews, offering a wide range of traditional and experimental styles. The brewery’s current taprooms feature draft, bottled and canned beer, along with cider, wine, non-alcoholic options and gluten-free selections.

The new Golden location will give Bruz room to grow its brewing operations while creating a larger destination for customers. The brewery’s existing taprooms are known for their spacious patios, regular events and beer-focused gatherings, including tastings, classes and its annual Belgian Brew Fest.

Food will also remain part of the Bruz experience. The brewery currently offers snacks including frozen pizzas, baked pretzels, tinned fish and other casual options, while its Midtown location regularly hosts food trucks.

Bruz’s connection to Golden also makes the move something of a homecoming. Co-owner Ryan Evans, who has spent years searching for a suitable location for a larger flagship brewery, ultimately found the property in his hometown. For now, Bruz continues to operate its Midtown and Off Fax locations as it prepares for the transition.
