Huckleberry Roasters, a local coffee chain known for its commitment to quality, is set to open a new location in Centennial. The company will be taking over a former Peet’s Coffee at 6751 S. York St., a Denver Post article states.

While there is no timeline on how long until opening, selecting an established coffee shop location streamlines the permitting process and allows for quicker openings compared to starting from scratch. The brand didn’t return requests for comment.

This will be its second outpost outside Denver proper. The brand currently has a flagship location in Sunnyside; one in Wheat Ridge; and Dairy Block, Tennyson, Larimer Square, and Baker stores. A new Congress Park location is also in the works, reports state.

Since its founding in 2011, Huckleberry Roasters has experienced significant growth, increasing its annual revenue from $3 million before the pandemic to $10 million today. The company runs retail operations, as well as wholesale and e-commerce sales.
