The Tavern at St. Michael’s is now under new ownership, marking a new chapter for the longtime Greeley restaurant and bar.

Located at 2918 67th Avenue, the restaurant was operated by Chef Chad Young and his wife, Wendi, since 2012. The couple announced the restaurant’s closure in May after more than a decade in business.

Kevin and Annie Auldridge announced in May that they were looking forward to taking over ownership of The Tavern at St. Michael’s.

More recently, AKA Enterprises LLC applied to transfer the existing Hotel and Restaurant liquor license for the restaurant. The application appeared on the Greeley Liquor Licensing Authority’s August agenda and was continued to September.

The restaurant’s website continues to showcase The Tavern as a destination for food, drinks, catering and private events, while a new chef profile has also been added.

The ownership change brings a fresh chapter to a restaurant that has been part of the Greeley dining scene for more than a decade.
