Prost Brewing, a Colorado brewer, is expanding with the opening of its fifth Colorado biergarten in Wheat Ridge. The new venue will be open to visitors this August. It will be part of the Clear Creek Crossing mixed-use development.
Prost Biergarten Opening in Wheat Ridge This August
The new Prost Biergarten will open on August 3, 2026, at 3801 Clear Creek Drive in Wheat Ridge. The opening will bring German-style beer, a full-service kitchen, and a community-focused gathering space to the region.
According to a report by 9News, the 6,800-square-foot facility is easily accessible from I-70 and Clear Creek Trail. The bar will pour 40 taps, including Prost’s lineup of German-style lagers alongside guest ciders, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
The food menu will include traditional German dishes such as sausages, pretzels, schnitzel, pizza, and desserts.
The Wheat Ridge opening has been a buzz since last year. A 2025 report by Brewbound cites that the location will also offer views of Coors’ pond and the Front Range from the biergarten.
Designed to reflect the traditions of German biergartens, the new site features an enclosed patio, an indoor dining room, private event spaces, and a 1-barrel research and development brewhouse where visitors can observe the small-batch brewing process.

The Wheat Ridge biergarten is expected to be a community hub. Prost Brewing serves authentic German-style beers that are brewed according to German traditions and ingredients.
The company currently operates biergartens in Denver, Fort Collins, Highlands Ranch, and Northglenn. The Wheat Ridge location will be its fifth in Colorado.
