Wine lovers in Denver will soon have a new place to discover small-batch bottles and Colorado-made spirits when Chestnut Cellars opens in the RiNo Arts District this fall.
According to the Chestnut Cellars website, the independent wine and spirits shop is planned for 3530 Chestnut Pl. and is expected to open in fall 2026.
The approximately 600-square-foot shop will be located on the ground floor of FLORA, a 12-story residential development in RiNo according to Mile High CRE. Founded by Denver native Chris Gallegos, Chestnut Cellars will offer a curated selection of wines and Colorado-based spirits for locals and visitors.
The concept will place an emphasis on family-owned wineries, small-batch producers, Colorado makers and minority-owned brands, giving customers an opportunity to discover products that may not typically receive the same visibility in larger retail stores.
Chestnut Cellars will also host wine and spirits tastings, producer spotlights and other events aimed at making the world of wine more approachable while connecting customers with the stories behind the bottles.
The shop is being designed with the atmosphere of a modern wine cellar, combining industrial elements with warm textures and curated displays.
Construction is expected to wrap up this summer, with additional details about tasting events, programming and an official opening date expected to be announced closer to the shop’s debut.
