Erewhon Cafe, a leading natural and organic food and wellness store in Los Angeles, hopes to open a new location in Malibu at 23465 Civic Center Way.

The company’s newest location hopes to open at the Cross Creek Ranch shopping center, a mixed-use development with 70,000 square feet of luxury retail, chic boutiques, and electric eateries, according to a brochure from the leasing company. It’s unclear if discussions are still ongoing or whether or not the company will land in the development, but it proves Erewhon is interested in expanding its offerings to more parts of Los Angeles.

At the moment, Erewhon has ten locations throughout Los Angeles County, mainly in the city’s most prominent neighborhoods, such as Venice, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and more. The brand has become synonymous with healthy-living food and drink choices and has some of the most expensive products. For example, organic turmeric tahini broccoli and organic green beans & almonds both cost about $20 a pound.

While this grocery chain is known for having some of the most rewarding and expensive products in Los Angeles, its cafe is slightly more affordable, but not by much. Some options to be on the menu include breakfast burritos, sandwiches and wraps, sushi, combo plates, entrees and sides, and desserts. Adding an Erewhon Cafe will elevate the already impressive Cross Creek Ranch by giving visitors a place to grab a meal before or after shopping around. Other tenants set for the development include Wally’s Wine & Spirits, Pura Vida Miami, Le Labo, and more.
