Hunt and Polo Club is set to expand, General Manager Rick Coleman confirmed with What Now Memphis on Wednesday. The location will remain in its original space on 650 South Shady Grove Road.
Rick replied with comment on the expansion, stating that Hunt and Polo Club will be exploring their options with expansion. “As we move forward into the future, we will continue to serve our members and their guests,” Coleman told What Now.
During the permitting process Coleman stated the main goal is to comply with all of Memphis’s codes and ordinances.
While it’s unclear how exactly the venue plans to expand, the general environment of the club will not be changed during the improvements.
The grounds of Hunt and Polo offer a pool, pool house, tennis as well as pickleball. The private social club has been in its current space since the 1950s.
