A new chapter appears to be on the horizon for a popular Memphis-area food truck. Recently filed paperwork shows that Scrapped the Plate Bistro hopes to begin serving up its signature comfort food in a Stage Road storefront.

Scrapped the Plate Bistro has filed for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 7199 Stage Road. The application is under review as of June 26. The form provides little additional information on the restaurant beyond the fact that it is set to span 1,505 square feet.

Scrapped the Plate Bistro has made a big impact on Memphis diners through its food truck operations. The concept offers a range of delicious comfort food options-menu items include wings, eggrolls, salmon clubs, lamb chops, ribs, and cheeseburgers, among other dishes.

It is unclear at this point whether or not the Stage Road location will expand or amend the menu in any significant way. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for further details and will update readers as additional information becomes available.
