2026 is shaping up to be an auspicious year for Petals of a Peony and its many fans. The Michelin-recognized restaurant has launched a new location in Collierville and has recently announced that a storefront is planned for Shelby County, continuing its hot streak.

The celebrated concept is bringing its authentic Sichuan cuisine to Raleigh. Petals of a Peony made the announcement via social media post. A precise address was not included in the announcement, nor was an opening timeline included. However, Petals of a Peony did assure customers that the new location is “coming soon”, suggesting that additional details are just around the corner.

Petals of a Peony opened its first location in Cordova in 2023, making an immediate and indelible mark on the regional dining scene. It has since opened several new storefronts and developed a smaller, fast-casual offshoot called Little Petals. The concept has earned acclaim-and a loyal following-thanks to its commitment to recreating a genuine Sichuan dining experience. The website explains: “We try to make our restaurant as authentic as possible, so our customers will have the same experience like eating in the finest Sichuan restaurant in China without stepping on a plane.”
