Memphis foodies, get ready to welcome a new and refined dining experience. J Tap Kitchen, which promises to provide “an intimate culinary journey crafted with seasonal ingredients, timeless techniques, and a passion for perfection” is preparing to open its doors and begin serving guests later this summer.

The restaurant is setting up its kitchen at 3397 Summer Avenue. J Tap Kitchen was recently issued a certificate of occupancy from the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, which states that the eatery will span 4,000 square feet and have an occupant load of 99.

However, it is J Tap Kitchen’s own website that provides the details most likely to stir excitement in future customers. The homepage states that the  restaurant will be opening in July. The concept is working hard to recruit the staff needed to run it; J Tap’s website states that its hiring for all positions.

The menu offers a range of “thoughtfully crafted dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients, designed to surprise and delight”. The selection includes salads and sandwiches alongside an array of seafood entrees and decadent desserts.
