On track to reach more than 215 locations in 24 states, donut chain Duck Donuts is growing its South Florida footprint. The chain currently has one location operating in Boca Raton and is gearing up to open another, this time in Miramar Park Place, a shopping center at 11225 Miramar Pkwy.
The chain’s elevated donuts come in exciting varieties like Bacon in the Sun (Maple Icing, Chopped Bacon, Salted Caramel Drizzle), Blueberry Pancake, and The Boardwalk (Classic Glaze, OREO® Crumbles, Powdered Sugar, Vanilla Drizzle). They also come, rather decadently, in the form of classic breakfast sandwiches like bacon, egg, and cheese—a donut right where you’d expect a bagel to be.
What Now confirmed the news with representative of the company on Tuesday. The representative said the new location is working toward an opening in Q1 of 2023.
In the meantime, if you’re impatient to try one of the brand’s made-to-order donuts, you can get one (or several) at 5030 Champion Blvd in Boca Raton. They’re open till 7 p.m. Wendesday through Saturday, and till 5 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday.
Miramar Park Place is a shopping mall located on the northwestern corner of Red Rd. and Miramar Pkwy. Opening there, Duck Donuts will be part of a food and drink community that includes World of Beer and Zuru Ramen.
