Hawaiian Bros Island Grill is preparing to make its Louisiana debut, with plans to open its first restaurant in Baton Rouge.
The restaurant is planned for Long Farm Village, the mixed-use development off Airline Highway.
According to The Advocate, Om Ohana Baton Rouge Realty LLC recently purchased a 0.75-acre site where a freestanding Hawaiian Bros Island Grill is expected to open within the next 18 months.
Founded in 2018, Hawaiian Bros Island Grill specializes in Hawaiian-inspired plate lunches, serving grilled chicken, slow-roasted pork and other island favorites alongside rice, macaroni salad and fresh sides. The fast-casual chain has grown to more than 80 locations across the US.
Customers can expect a menu featuring signature island-style plates, chicken prepared in a variety of flavors, pulled pork, salads, sides and tropical-inspired beverages.
Additional details, including a construction timeline and opening date, are expected to be announced as the project moves forward.
