Get ready to dance, Chelsea! A brand new Latin social club is getting ready to move all the way from Miami to New York.

La Victoria Social Club is a popular Latin nightclub that has been established in Miami’s ultra-chic Design District since 2013. Operated by owner Antonio Turbay, La Victoria is described as “a mystical place, an exotic garden, a mysterious woman, and a state of mind.” Full of kind characters, Latin rhythms, and crowds of diverse strangers, La Victoria transports guests to an exotic Latin-American colonial city, where local carnivals turn any ordinary night into a night to remember.

Now, Antonio is taking his popular Miami club to a brand new crowd – you know who, it’s you! Antonio has just recently announced his intention to open up La Victoria in a brand new space at 357West 16th Street. The location was formerly home to Noir NY, a popular nightclub with vibrantly gold accents that sadly closed down during the pandemic. As a former nightclub, the space is well-suited to meet Antonio’s vision.

The location is currently equipped to seat about 122 guests at one time, and will also feature an impressive dance floor where patrons can dance the night away night after night. The space will also seat an additional 50 guests on the mezzanine level, which will only be open in the latter half of the night.

Naturally, Antonio must first acquire the necessary licensing before he can bring his concept to life. He is proposing operating hours of 12:00 PM – 4:00 AM from Tuesday to Saturday, and 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM on Sunday and Monday. Those hours are subject to change pending the community board’s decision, though Noir did operate there previously with similar hours. For more information, you can follow La Victoria on Instagram for every update as they prepare their big New York move.
