Staten Island-based Seppe Pizza Bar is heading to Tribeca, according to documents recently filed with the community board. The pizzeria is taking over the former Harry’s Italian space at the ground level of 225 Murray Street.

Brothers Joe and John Iovino opened the pizzeria in 2018, serving a selection of pasta dishes, classic Italian meals like chicken parm and eggplant rollatini, and pizzas (including a build-your-own option).

The restaurant aims to be a neighborhood pizzeria with a classic, modern, casual atmosphere, according to the website. Seppe Pizza sources ingredients locally and from Italy.

“Seppe is the result of generations of Italian-Americans who grew up around kitchen tables enjoying traditional dishes made from cherished family recipes,” the website states. “We aim to honor our values and our roots every day in how we thoughtfully prepare, cook and serve authentic recipes at an honest and approachable price.”

The spot in Tribeca will be the second location for Seppe Pizza Bar. It is unclear at this time when the spot plans to open.

What Now New York has reached out to the ownership team for more information on plans and the opening timeline but did not hear back by time of publication.
