The high-energy Sushi by Bou chain is planning to open a new location in the Financial District inside the FIDI Hotel at 11 Stone St. According to a post on Facebook, the new location is inspired by both the Financial District itself and the Pop Art movement. The restaurant has scheduled an exclusive preview from May 8 to May 14. There is also a Grand Opening celebration slated for May 15.

Founded by sushi chef David Bouhadana and part of the Simplevenue restaurant group, Sushi by Bou is known for omakase-style service in a vibrant speakeasy setting. The upcoming restaurant will have a 14-seat omakase counter and lounge seating for nearly 30 guests. In addition to omakase, the upcoming Sushi by Bou will also have an extended lounge menu featuring sake and cocktails made with Japanese spirits.

The restaurant currently has locations in seven states, along with Washington DC and Puerto Rico. What Now Phoenix recently covered the announcement of the chain’s first Arizona location.
