J Seven has filed for a full on-premises liquor license at 11530 NE Yacht Harbor Dr, Unit 206, on Portland’s Hayden Island, according to a public notice from the City of Portland dated August 17. The applicant is Parental Advisory LLC, managed by CEO Schuyler S. Hunton, with Kim Chan and Phillip Chung listed as additional members.

The address sits within the Yacht Harbor Club apartment complex along the Columbia River, an area more commonly associated with waterfront residential living than nightlife, making J Seven’s entertainment focused concept a notable addition to the neighborhood.

The application lists an ambitious entertainment lineup for the space, checking boxes for live music, recorded music, DJ music and dancing, with operating hours running seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., unusually long hours for a new venue. The filing also lists outdoor food and alcohol service during those same hours. One figure on the application, seating capacity, was listed uniformly at 1,000 across restaurant, outdoor and other seating categories, a number that appears to be a placeholder or filing error rather than the space’s actual capacity, and should be treated with caution until confirmed directly.
