Straightaway Cocktails, the Southeast Portland distillery and tasting room located at 901 SE Hawthorne Blvd, has been operating a cocktail kiosk at the Portland International Airport since 2024. This year, it’s preparing to expand, opening a full-blown cocktail lounge at PDX’s Concourse C, says recent coverage by The Oregonian.

The “experimental bar” will comprise 1,000 square feet of space.

“Straightaway’s PDX bar will offer the brand’s full line of cocktails and Accompani spirits, plus a rotating selection of curated drinks specific to the airport location,” says the coverage. “In June, it will debut a Bloody Mary and Roma Spritz, the latter of which was made in collaboration with Alaska Airlines.”

A partnership with Italian bakery Sebastiano’s will also result in a menu of “flavor-packed Euro-Northwest meals.”

“Our brand is rooted in cocktail culture and honoring the craft at its highest level,” Straightaway CEO and co-founder Cy Cain said in a press release cited in the Oregonian coverage. “This space goes far beyond sitting on a retailer’s shelf, and affords us the opportunity to meet the cocktail-enchanted and cocktail-curious alike to share our love of a properly made drink.”
