A new Dutch Bros coffee shop is in the works for South Sacramento.
The expansion is spearheaded by local franchisees Kyle and Hailey Garrett, who previously announced plans to open up to five Sacramento-area shops in 2025. Recent permit filings reveal that the new shop will launch at 4501 Mack Rd, Suite 100, in a Food 4 Less-anchored shopping center.
The café is expected to open later this spring, according to Sacramento Business Journal. Two additional sites are also in the works: one in Elk Grove that’s slated to open in late 2025 or early 2026, and another in the Carleton Tract district, though no timeline has been announced for that site.
The Garretts have played a major role in Dutch Bros’ regional growth. Since opening their first location in Elk Grove in 2015, they’ve launched 13 more sites across Greater Sacramento. The duo also owns Bohl, a healthy fast-casual eatery expected to debut in Elk Grove this July.
Founded in 1992, Dutch Bros has grown to more than 900 locations across 18 states. In addition to coffee, the shop serves teas, lemonades, refreshers, energy drinks, smoothies, sparkling sodas, and a variety of sweet snacks and shakes.
