A local halal joint known for its New York-style street eats is expanding.

NY Gyros & Philly’s recently signed a lease for a roughly 1,440 square foot space at 2377 Arden Way in Arden Center, according to an Instagram update from ROME Real Estate Group. Broker Andy Jonsson helped finalize the deal.

The upcoming outpost will mark the third Sacramento location for the fast-growing eatery, which already operates on La Riviera Drive and Stockton Boulevard. The menu features a range of loaded gyros, authentic Philly cheesesteaks, hot wings, chicken tenders, and a medley of Middle Eastern-inspired halal comfort foods.

“NY Gyros & Philly’s is your one-stop shop for all delicious foods here in Sacramento,” reads the company’s website. The team prides itself on using fresh herbs, high-quality ingredients, and bold spices to craft what they call “lip-smacking yet healthy delicacies.”

Owner Shahryar Baryalai briefly confirmed the expansion with What Now Sacramento but declined to share further details for now, so stay tuned for updates.
