FiiZ Drinks, the Utah-born specialty soda chain that has been quietly taking over the country one customized drink at a time, is heading to El Dorado Hills Town Center at 4364 Town Center Blvd., Suite 108, in what will be the brand’s first California location, according to property manager Dawn Bricker. Franchisees Danielle and Eloy Soto will operate the store, though an opening date has yet to be announced.

The 536-square-foot space was previously occupied by GradePower Learning Centers and sits near World Traveler Coffee Roasters and Brickyard Counter & Bar, putting FiiZ in the heart of one of El Dorado Hills’ most trafficked retail corridors.

If you haven’t heard of dirty soda yet, you will soon. The concept is about soft drinks mixed with flavored syrups, fruit purees, cream, and unexpected add-ins. It started as a Utah phenomenon rooted in the culture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where members sought creative non-alcoholic social drinks. What began as a local niche exploded nationally after singer Olivia Rodrigo was photographed holding one in 2021, and the trend has only grown by TikTok, sober-curious consumers, and the simple fact that the drinks are genuinely fun. Dirty soda menu penetration grew a staggering 42% in 2025 alone.

The brand offers more than 10,000 possible drink combinations like Coke with coconut and pineapple cream, Mountain Dew with funky syrups, or Red Bull mixed with fruit purees, alongside snacks like cookies and FiiZ puffs. About 80% of orders go through the drive-thru, keeping things fast and accessible.
