A new concept is headed to Barrio Logan later this year. A recent application with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control places Jaguar Paw on Logan Avenue near Border X Brewing.
Co-owner Zack Meyer confirms with What Now San Diego that he and another co-owner who operates a separate San Diego restaurant are in the process of designing Jaguar Paw to introduce to the Barrio Logan community.
Jaguar Paw recently participated in the inaugural Sabor Del Barrio self-guided food crawl celebrating Chicano culture and the many unique and diverse culinary options available in the Barrio Logan neighborhood.
The menu is still in development but will reportedly feature gourmet small plates, and a beverage program to complement the seafood-forward menu with craft cocktails, natural wines, and local craft beers. Jaguar Paw is currently accepting applications for its front and back-of-house positions, according to a recent hiring announcement.
For now, we can follow Jaguar Paw on Instagram and wait for more details to come through. More details are promised in the coming months along with an opening announcement for Jaguar Paw, projected for Fall 2023.
