Urbane Cafe is headed further south to bake up their signature focaccia bread. According to a recent permit filing with the city, the go-to lunch spot will join Bonita Point Plaza in Chula Vista.

Urbane Cafe currently operates four locations in San Diego, with fast-casual restaurants in Encinitas, Mira Mesa, Linda Vista, and El Cajon. This will be their first location in South San Diego.

Headquartered in Ventura, Urbane Cafe recently announced their newest restaurant will open in Menifee on July 18th. Since 2003, the company has grown to 23 locations across Southern and Central California.

Specializing in handcrafted sandwiches with scratch-made breads and sauces, their cafes also serve gourmet salads with their signature focaccia bread on the side. Their focaccia is the star of the show, baked fresh right before your eyes.
