According to a press release on the Chase Center website, the restaurateurs behind the popular cocktail bar The Snug are debuting a new concept at Thrive City, Taco Primo.

“Thrive City has such a vibrant community of fans, food lovers, and fellow retailers,” said Liv Ringo, co-owner of Taco Primo. “We’ve wanted to launch a concept like Taco Primo for a while, and to share it with the world at such an iconic San Francisco venue is a dream come true.”

The eatery will be a “modern, fast-casual Cali-Mex taco concept inspired by old-school cooking techniques and the blend of Latino & American cultures in the Bay Area,” the release states.

On the menu, locals can expect to find options “ranging from healthy salads to decadent burritos.” “The menu will also feature four slow-cooked proteins: chicken, al pastor, suadero, and braised jackfruit, seasoned with a signature ‘primo spice blend.’ The signature salsas — salsa taquera, roasted tomatillo, and habanero — are all made in-house daily, and guests can add cheese, sour cream, and house-made guacamole to make any item.”

Taco Primo will be located in Thrive City’s Esplanade next to Generation Thrive and across from Harmonic Brewing. After opening in “early 2025,” the restaurant will operate seven days a week from 11:30 am to 10 pm. Stay tuned for updates.
