According to SF Eater, Austin-based eatery Clark’s Oyster Bar is debuting a new restaurant in Menlo Park in the spring.

Coming to 780 Santa Cruz Avenue, the concept will land near establishments such as Bagel Street Cafe, Mademoiselle Colette, and Ristorante Carpaccio.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Larry McGuire, Managing Partner at MML Hospitality, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the restaurant offers a brief introduction on its website: “Since opening in 2012 in the Old West Austin neighborhood near downtown, Clark’s Austin has become an Austin institution for all things seafood: freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, and bowls of chowder and cioppino.”

“Clark’s Montecito, our first California location, is a stylish all-day restaurant celebrating coastal American classics spanning from New England to California and offering lunch and dinner daily. In addition to its flagship menu of oysters and raw bar, a signature burger, daily catch specials, lobster rolls, chowder, and refreshing crudo, this new location features seasonal bounty from the Pacific Ocean.”

The statement continues, “The wine list highlights California classics in every section—sparkling, white, rose, and red—alongside French whites and reds primarily from Burgundy and the Loire. Clark’s signature martinis and cocktails are always available.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Clark’s on Facebook for updates.
