Bamboo Sushi is getting ready to open a new restaurant at 128 Lake St. in Kirkland. The company’s website lists the location as “coming soon”, but an exact opening date has not yet been announced.

The Kirkland spot will be Bamboo Sushi’s second location in Washington, joining its restaurant at University Village in Seattle. The Portland-based company also operates in Oregon, Colorado, and California.

Owned by SoHi Brands, Bamboo Sushi is recognized for its sustainably sourced seafood and dishes. The menu includes nigiri, sashimi, crispy rice, classic and signature rolls, among other selections.

Since 2008, Bamboo Sushi has prioritized sustainability, becoming the world’s first certified sustainable sushi restaurant. The brand donates 1% of sales from the Green Machine Roll and Sushi Boards to environmental nonprofits that protect fisheries, watersheds, and ecosystems.

What Now Seattle reached out to Bamboo Sushi for more information about the Kirkland location and will update this article as new details become available.
