Tacoma’s Best Piercing is preparing to move into a larger space in Tacoma, a transition expected to give the business additional capacity as demand continues to grow.
Owner Jessica Talavera Gonzalez recently shared updates on social media showing construction progress at the new space, which is currently undergoing buildout, painting, and other preparations ahead of a planned mid-July opening.
While the studio has not yet publicly disclosed the new address, Jessica said the location will be near Fred Meyer and Subway, across from Tacoma Community College.
The move will allow Tacoma’s Best Piercing to expand from three piercing rooms to four, creating additional appointment availability for clients.
“Sometimes with three piercers in three piercing rooms we are fully booked, so now we’re going to have four. We’re going to be working on expanding our availability,” Jessica said in a recent social media update.
Tacoma’s Best Piercing specializes in ear and body piercings and offers implant-grade titanium and solid gold jewelry from brands including Anatometal, Industrial Strength, Neometal, BVLA, and Junipurr.
The current Tacoma’s Best Piercing location operates at 1620 S. Mildred St., Suite 3. According to the company, it is the only piercing studio in Pierce County with members of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) on staff.
