Bay Area-based burger joint Roam Burgers is expanding to Marin County. Known for “mindfully sourced burgers with creative toppings and shakes,” the eatery will open its sixth location in the Corte Madera Town Center, joining restaurants such as Blue Barn, Flores, Il Fornaio, and Philz Coffee.

Owner Josh Spiegelman tells Eater San Francisco, “We have had our eyes on Marin for a long time and have received many requests from customers to open a location… We believe we’ve found a great one.” He shares that design firm Zero Ten Design will handle its remodeling.

The menu will remain consistent — burgers made with either a beef, turkey, bison, or veggie patty on a sesame seed, brioche, whole grain, or gluten-free bun, or wrapped in lettuce. Artisan burger options include the French N’ Fries — topped with truffle parmesan fries, brie, avocado, caramelized onions, greens, piquant sauce, and stone ground mustard — and the Tejano, made with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño relish, avocado, tomato, white corn strips, and herb ranch. There is also a create-your-own burger option for patrons who’d prefer to get crafty, alongside salads, fries, and shakes.
