Oola Bowls is bringing fresh, made-to-order acai and pitaya bowls to Lancaster County. Owners Randy Simmons and Keith Lehner are opening the new location at the Shops at Rockvale center later this summer, reports local media outlet Penn Live.

The owners have not yet announced an official opening date for the new establishment. The 624 square foot stand-alone shop will sit behind the Burger King at 35 South Willowdale Drive. Oola Bowls will feature a drive-thru window for customers in a hurry.

Oola Bowls began life as a food truck in 2018. Founders Joe Ferderbar and Brock Snider began the venture in an effort to bring quick, healthy options to Lancaster. Since those humble beginnings, Oola Bowls has gone on to open eight locations across Berks, Lancaster, and Lebanon.

Oola Bowls’ menu offers bowls, smoothies, bites, and a variety of coffee drinks. While the restaurant offers curated bowls, guests can also customize their own meals.
