Jason Evenchik, the owner of multiple beloved Philadelphia bars and restaurants, is preparing to open a new concept late this summer, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer. Starbolt is aiming to open its doors at 1936 North Front Street in August.

Starbolt was initially slated to open in May. Little information is currently available about the project.

Evenchik is renovating an ironworks into the restaurant and bar. The facility will also be available as an event space.

Starbolt will occupy 8,592 square feet near multiple public transit stops.

Evenchik brought a European sensibility to Philadelphia in 2002. The restaurateur moved to the city from Paris, and began opening taverns intended to fill the deficit of casual wine bars.

Evenchik currently owns the Vintage Wine Bar, Time, Garage, and Heritage. While few specifics are available about Starbolt, the entrepreneur’s projects consistently lean towards casual but sophisticated bar settings.

Starbolt will offer both dine-in and takeout options.
