Ghost Donkey Slated to Expand With a New Location in the River North Area

In addition to expanding to Chicago, Ghost Donkey will also expand to Dallas and Omaha.

According to Chicago Food Chat, Ghost Donkey will be one of two new restaurants that will open at the former Sullivan’s in the River North area at 415 N Dearborn St.

A representative of Ghost Donkey was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, Ghost Donkey will reside on the second floor, according to Chicago Food Chat.

According to Ghost Donkey’s website, Ghost Donkey currently has five locations. They will be opening up three new locations, including Chicago’s.

“Named after some fabled white donkeys—considered the workhorse of the tequila and mezcal-making process— Ghost Donkey is full of bright color and eccentric characters, which come to life through the cheerful bar team as well as the space’s whimsical design.”
