A new concept from the owners of Daisies is coming soon to Logan Square.

The Radicle is set to open this fall at 2523 N Milwaukee Avenue. This is near the center of the neighborhood just down the street from Daisies. It marks the newest restaurant from praised owner and chef Joe Frillman.

What Now Chicago previously reported the new Daisies location had opened to 2375 N Milwaukee Avenue in March 2023. This was the second Daisies location, the original to be occupied by The Radicle. The restaurant offers homemade pastas and specialty drinks.

“We want to be one of the spots on Milwaukee Avenue that’s helping to bring those vibes back to the neighborhood,” Frillman said in the press release.

Frillman’s current restaurant received a Green MICHELIN star, and Frillman has received James Beard semifinalist nods. Now, he wants to help continue the bustling night life of Logan Square with the new restaurant.

For dishes, the restaurant will serve deviled eggs with trout rye, artisanal pizzas with many toppings, and vegetable dishes like golden raisin-dressed pepper carpaccio. There will also be crab dip with Ritz crackers, oysters from both coasts and other small dishes to snack on.

The new space will serve cocktails from Tales of the Cocktail nominated bar manager Nicole Yarovinsky. There will be negronis, the Shagliatto Rossini, with Lambrusco, strawberries, campari and rose vermouth, and peach fizz with peaches, basil, whey soda and egg white.

There is not an exact opening date, but the timeline right now is the fall. For more information, visit their Instagram @radiclechicago.
