According to SFist, Chef Seth Stowaway, of the now-shuttered, Michelin-starred restaurant Osito, is debuting a new casual concept in the Mission.
Coming to 2240 Mission Street, taking over an address formerly home to WesBurger — which also recently shuttered on July 15 — Chicken-Fried Palace will land near establishments such as the American eatery Lazy Bear, Linea Cafe, and modern Chamorro fare restaurant Prubechu.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Stowaway to inquire about his plans for the upcoming eatery; however, he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.
Nevertheless, the Journal reports that the menu will feature predominantly chicken-fried items such as chicken-fried steak and a chicken-fried Reuben sandwich. Alcoholic milkshakes, non-alcoholic milkshakes, and dessert items such as pie will also be offered.
Chicken-Fried Palace is slated to open this autumn. Follow What Now San Francisco on Facebook for updates to this story.
