After more than 20 years of operation, One-Eyed Mike’s is shutting down. The gastropub is known for its rustic decor and hand-carved antique bar.
It offers a mix of classic American fare, craft drinks, and a lively dining experience. The menu includes tavern dishes, including Maryland Crab Cakes, French Onion Soup, and Lobster Mac.

Fells Point Loses More Dining Spots as Closures Continue
For decades, One-Eyed Mike’s has served as a gathering place for locals and visitors. The closure comes as more restaurants in Baltimore has shut down.
The Cheesecake Factory
According to a CBS News report, The Cheesecake Factory at Harborplace in the Inner Harbor has closed. The restaurant opened in 1996 and became a landmark waterfront dining spot.
After 30 years of service, the eatery served its final meal in January 24, 2026. The report stated that the closure is part of broader changes and redevelopment plans for the Harborplace area.
The Brewer’s Art
Another Baltimore staple, The Brewer’s Art, also said goodbye to the community in February 2,2026. Located on Charles Street in Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, the craft brewery served the community for three decades.
“Owner Volker Stewart informed employees by text message Monday that he was closing effective immediately due to financial problems,” said The Baltimore Banner report.
Together, these closures reflect a broader trend impacting Baltimore’s restaurant landscape. From longtime favorites to newer concept spots, many are struggling to continue operations in the area due to shifts in economic conditions.
The closure of One-Eyed Mike’s marks the end of an era for one of Fells Point’s familiar and well-loved establishments.
