Memphis beauty enthusiasts, get ready. A company committed to providing “the wow effect. All day long.” is setting up a new home in the area. Empress Ink is bringing an array of cosmetic services to an upcoming Main Street storefront according to recently filed paperwork.

The concept currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 606 N Main Street. The paperwork shows that Empress Ink will be gaining a 471 square foot space with an occupant load of 5.

Though Empress Ink already made a splash at 1331 Union Avenue, there may still be some locals unfamiliar with the concept’s scope of services. The certificate of occupancy application provides some clarity, describing the business as a “Microblading and permanent makeup studio. Single-operator, appointment-based body art establishment providing microblading (semi-permanent eyebrow), permanent eyeliner, and related cosmetic tattoo services.”

Empress Ink does not currently have an opening timeline available for its new location; What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for information and will update readers as details become available.
