Laundry Day San Antonio To Open Updated Laundry Facility In West San Antonio

The project includes new equipment, interior upgrades, and ADA-compliant improvements at El Mercado Center

Laundry Day San Antonio is preparing to renovate a new location on Marbach Road, according to a recently filed project with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The upcoming laundry facility is planned for 9055 Marbach Road, Suite 102, in San Antonio’s Bexar County, within the El Mercado Center LLC-owned property. The project is currently registered as a renovation and alteration, with work expected to begin on June 1, 2026, and reach completion by July 15, 2026.

According to filings, the project carries an estimated construction cost of $230,500 and will be privately funded on private land for private use.

The 2,000-square-foot space will undergo a full interior refresh, including updates to ceilings, floors, and walls. Plans also call for a new ADA-compliant bathroom, replacement of existing laundry machines, and installation of updated equipment using existing plumbing hookups. Additional work includes increased gas and vent lines to accommodate larger dryers.

Laundry Day San Antonio, LLC will serve as the tenant for the space, with Michelle Haney listed as the tenant contact. The project was filed through Blair Baker RAS, with Michelle Haney also listed as the contact person for the filing.

Ownership of the property is listed under El Mercado Center LLC.
