A new Sprouts Farmers Market location is planned for Cibolo, according to recent filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Sprouts Farmers Market is a specialty grocery chain known for its fresh produce, natural and organic foods, and health-focused grocery offerings.
The grocery retailer is set to occupy a 24,439-square-foot build-to-suit space at Cibolo Crossing, located at 17980 IH-35, Suite 175, in Guadalupe County. Project documents indicate that the development will consist of new ground-up construction within the retail center.
Construction is expected to begin on May 26, 2026, with completion anticipated for April 23, 2027. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $3 million and is privately funded on private land for private use.
Project records list Cromwell Street, LLC as the property owner. Charles F. Hedges, Jr. is associated with the ownership side of the development, while Rob Roy Parnell is listed as the person filing the application. Florida-based architecture firm Cuhaci Peterson is serving as the design firm for the project.
Founded in Arizona, the company has expanded across the United States with a strong presence in Texas, where demand for health-conscious grocery options continues to grow alongside rapid residential and commercial development.
The Cibolo Crossing project adds to the area’s growing retail pipeline along the IH-35 corridor, which has seen increased interest from national grocery and lifestyle brands in recent years.
