Hot on the heels of opening the highly acclaimed and impossible-to-book Or’esh, Eugene Remm from the Catch Hospitality Group is planning another upscale concept, this time in the West Village. Set to be located in the former Saint Theo’s at 340 Bleecker St., the yet-to-be-named spot will be a “sun-kissed” New York-influenced take on the classic French brasserie, according to a filing with Community Board 2.

“(It will have) the same polish and elegance, but with a brighter, coastal pulse,” says the filing, which is associated with Catch & Shoot LLC. “Warm, comfortable interiors and an all-day energy set the tone from lunch through dinner, with a menu anchored by classic French bistro greatest hits.

“The experience blends brasserie confidence with lighter, seaside-driven choices that feel fresh and effortless.”

A draft menu included with the filing listed starters such as French onion soup, grilled squid, and Shrimp Polynesian. Entrées included Chicken Paillard, Fish a la Plancha, and the fish stew known as Bourride. The menu also included seven types of crudo, four salads, three types of frites, and three pasta dishes. There were also four brunch dishes. While beverage details were not disclosed, the filing is for a full liquor license. What Now New York has reached out for more information.

The brasserie will have seating for 92 guests, including 13 bar seats. There are also plans for sidewalk café seating. The owners plan to be open from 11 a.m. to midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 1a .m. on Friday and Saturday.
