The Denver dining community has lost four gems in June 2026. The closures include an arcade bar, a brewery, an Asian restaurant, and an upscale restaurant, each of which permanently ceased operations during the month.
These Four Colorado Dining Spots Closed Their Doors in June
The vibrant dining landscape of Denver witnessed several heartbreaking closures. Church and Union Denver, 1up Arcade Bar, and two more restaurants are included in the list. Take a look at the closure list:
Church and Union Denver

Church and Union Denver permanently closed after two years in business. The restaurant served its final guests on June 20 at its Lower Downtown location.
The restaurant served upscale American cuisine beneath a hand-painted ceiling inspired by The Art of War. Church and Union Denver was part of the 5th Street Group and became a staple within a short period of time. Read more about the restaurant here.

1up Arcade Bar
1up Arcade Bar permanently closed its original Blake Street location on June 22. The arcade-themed bar had operated at the location since 2011. The bar featured classic arcade games, pinball machines, craft beer, and pub fare.
In its announcement, the bar cited economic challenges and changes in the hospitality industry as the reasons for the closure. 1up Arcade Bar will continue to serve the community with its other locations in Colfax and Greenwood Village.

Magna Kainan

Magna Kainan, a Filipino restaurant in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood, permanently closed on June 26. The restaurant featured Filipino cuisine, an open kitchen, and colorful Filipino-inspired décor.
The restaurant team shared an emotional note on Instagram and thanked the community members and guests for their support. “A special thank you to Nehra, Patrick, Carmela, Fredo, and especially Chef Jodee and Chef Juliane,” stated the team.

Atrevida Beer Co.

Atrevida Beer Co. permanently closed on June 28 after eight years in business. The Colorado Springs brewery served craft beer for eight years in a casual setting.
The brewery team shared the closure announcement on social media. The brewery thanked customers for their support, particularly following the 2022 Club Q tragedy, as it announced the closure. The brewery and its team have left a lasting impression on the Denver dining community. For more information, read here.
