Private social club Common House New Orleans has entered a new chapter under new management and a new name, rebranding as 420 Julia.
The club, located at 420 Julia Street, is now managed by Schulte Hospitality Group, which took over operations on June 30. According to NOLA.com, the transition was made in agreement with building owner AJ Capital Partners and Common House.
Schulte Hospitality Group, a Louisville, Kentucky-based hotel management company, also operates the Pontchartrain Hotel in New Orleans. The company will oversee the property’s next phase under the new 420 Julia brand.
The approximately 20,000-square-foot property features a restaurant, bar, fitness center, rooftop pool, courtyard, co-working spaces and conference facilities. In addition, the venue offers private event spaces that can accommodate weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions and other special events.
The historic building dates back to the 1840s and has housed a private residence, a warehouse and the Louisiana Children’s Museum, making it one of the Warehouse District’s most recognizable properties. Common House opened in 2024, offering a private membership club that combined co-working spaces with hospitality and social programming.
