Youngsville-based KK’s Café is preparing to open a second location in Carencro, Lafayette.
The new restaurant will occupy the former Pizza Amore space at 3730 NE Evangeline Thruway. Pizza Amore opened in 2023.
In a Facebook post today, KK’s Café owners Lee and Wendy Oubre announced the expansion, adding that customers can expect the same great food and services.
Now the family owned restaurant is a local favorite in the Youngsville area and specializes in scratch-made comfort food served throughout the day, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Guests can also choose from a rotating selection of more than 15 homemade cheesecake flavors. Offerings include burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, fried shrimp, fried catfish and barbecue. The restaurant also serves a dedicated Sunday barbecue menu.
An opening date for the Lafayette location has not yet been announced. Customers can stay up to date on the progress and future announcements through KK’s Café’s website and social media channels.
