Slow-roasted barbecue is coming to the town on the outskirts of Chicagoland.

The new barbecue experience Blind Hog BBQ is planned for 2245 S Eastwood Drive in Woodstock. This is opening at the former Porkies Pig Roast location. From their social media, the estimated opening date right now is sometime in August.

“Serving authentic, slow-smoked barbecue crafted with quality ingredients and bold flavors,” says the description on their Facebook page.

The menu is already listed on their website, which includes brisket, pork ribs, turkey, pulled chicken, pulled pork and wagyu bologna. Along with the cut meats, sausages and sandwiches are also listed, like a pulled pork option. Those who want a smaller plate can choose their mac bowl, baked beans or sliders.

The new barbecue spot is opening where Eastwood Drive meets Cobblestone Way. This is in the plaza with Woodstock Harley-Davidson, on the south end of the city. Other concepts along Eastwood Drive include La Trinidad and Hunt Brothers Pizza.

More information on the opening date will be released on Blind Hog BBQ’s Instagram and Facebook pages. What Now Chicago has reached out to the owners and is awaiting comment.
