A new home for the kitchen that claims to make the “best pasta in the city” may be on the horizon. Da Trap Kitchen has filed permits for a “grab and go” restaurant on E Holmes Road, suggesting the area favorite may be able to serve even more customers soon.

Memphis diners may already be familiar with Da Trap Kitchen thanks to its 5735 Raleigh Lagrange location. The concept currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 1709 E Holmes Road.

The application’s description of Da Trap Kitchen as a “grab & go kitchen” suggests the restaurant’s primary function will be for takeout. The eatery will have 1,800 square feet of space in which to prepare its signature fare.

There is no word on an opening timeline yet; the location is not reflected on Da Trap Kitchen’s social media. The certificate of occupancy is under review as of July 10, suggesting that forward momentum is occurring. Should Da Trap Kitchen’s existing location provide an accurate template for its upcoming home, future regulars can look forward to delicious, filling, and comforting cuisine, including burgers, wings, and chicken fingers.
