After recently opening in Lakeview, the owners have plans to expand into another neighborhood and beyond.
Colectivo Coffee is looking at a new cafe location in Roscoe Village at 2032 W Roscoe Street, per a report from Chicago Business Journal. This follows their recent opening at 3258 N Southport Avenue in Lakeview. An opening date for Roscoe Village has not been announced, but it will be sometime in the fall.
“Strong coffee since 1993,” says the description on their Facebook page. The coffee roasting company was started by Lincoln Fowler, Ward Fowler and Paul Miller.
Menus at Colectivo locations feature fresh brewed coffees like their almond brittle latte and salted caramel latte. Espressos are also served, along with teas like matchas as well as hot chocolates. All-day breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast additions are on the menu as well.
The owners of Colectivo also operate 12 locations in Milwaukee, in Madison and six cafes in Chicago. What Now Chicago previously covered Colectivo coming to both Ravenswood and the new Lakeview location that has since opened. This marks the coffee company’s latest expansion in the city.
Colectivo will be in the heart of Roscoe Village, at the intersection of N Seeley Avenue. This is right across from Same Same Thai, and a Starbucks is at the southeast corner of the intersection.
What Now Chicago has reached out to the owners of Colectivo for comment, and this article may be updated.
