The kegs will soon be brought to a new location for the brewery.

From Block Club Chicago, Phase Three Brewing is planning expansion this year, with a new location coming to 3057 N Rockwell Street in Avondale. Eventually, the team also wants to add a kitchen to the space. Co-founder Evan Morris told What Now Chicago he is looking to debut the brewery around wintertime.

“It’ll be down the line, Q4 of 2027,” Morris said about the kitchen addition coming later next year.

What Now Chicago previously covered the brewery opening in Elmhurst in 2022. This is at the Stemple Cycle Center. The team first debuted in Lake Zurich in 2019 and also sell their beers in stores around the city. This is their latest expansion project, in the plans since November.

Beers on tap at the locations range from New England IPAs to lagers to imperials. New beers are added yearly, and for food options the breweries serve appetizers, wraps, salads and sandwiches. The menu for the new Avondale spot has not been revealed yet.

The building Phase Three brewing is moving into is right on the North Branch of the Chicago River, with Rockwell on the River event venue right next door. Soul & Smoke and Dolce Arte are also at the building. This is on the east side of Avondale.
