It is again an era of expansion for two franchisees.
The Chicken Salad Chick franchisees for Batavia have announced their new St. Charles location is coming to 3871 E Main Street. This is moving into the former Noodles & Company space in the suburb. An opening date has not yet been set, but franchise owners Kim and Garrett Seaman are looking at a spring opening.
The first Chicagoland Chicken Salad Chick debuted in 2022 at 200 N Randall Road in Batavia. From there, Kim and Garrett expanded to Glen Ellyn at 293 Roosevelt Road. The announcement of their St. Charles spot came on Oct. 29.
“We cannot WAIT to bring a little chicken salad happiness to the community!” Says the recent post from the team.
Fans of Chicken Salad Chick know what to expect with the menu, with both signature salads and sandwiches available. The “scoop meal” is popular, with the choice of chicken salad or pimento cheese scooped onto the plate with crackers. Sides like broccoli salad, fresh fruit and pasta salad are also prepared.
A Potbelly and Starbucks are currently at the building on the south end of E main Street. Other chains in this plaza include Portillo’s, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Poke Bros. This is on the east side of St. Charles, near the Fox Haven Square development.
